Race Information

This all-female event features a 1-mile, 5K & 10K walk/run through beautiful Ashland.

1-mile/5K/10K Walk/Run starts at 10am November 2nd, rain or shine (or snow...chilled Chick-uamegon)

Race weekend packet pick-up and registration:

  • Friday, November 1, 12noon to 5pm at the Ashland Chamber office, 1716 West Lake Shore Dr, Ashland.
  • Saturday, November 2nd, at the Bretting Community Center, 400 4th Ave West, Ashland   5K/10K 8:30am to 9:30am (prices go up on Saturday)

    1-mile/5K/10K $10 until September 25. $15 after September 25 –November 3. Race day $20.
    Girls 10 and under $5.00

  • Start line for the race is behind the Bretting Center/Bay Area Civic Center in the Central Railyard Park.  
  • Start time is at 10am

Awards Ceremony: 11:30am Bay Area Civic Center, 320 4th Ave West Ashland

Awards for 5K/10K Racers:  1st and 2nd place
1-mile participants receive medals only, no awards.
To keep costs down, the race will NOT be professionally timed.
Just come out and have some fun.

All participants will receive a Tiara!

All finishers receive a finisher’s medal!

Prize to the top three Blingiest Chicks! (must be present to win and participants vote)

Three Drawings for Finishers (must be present to win) after the race.

All Guys doing the Water Stations and Crossing Guards!

For insurance purposes:

  • Everyone participating must be a paid participant of the race wearing an official bib or they will be directed to leave the course.
  • NO animals, rollerskates, roller skis, inline skates, bikes or carriages of any kind allowed to participate in the Chick-uamegon.  For your own safety and for those around you, these are NOT allowed. If you are caught on the course with any of these, you will be directed off the route.
  • Persons under 18 years of age must have a parent’s signed consent.
