Race Information

This all-female event features a 1-mile & 5K through beautiful Ashland. 1-mile/5K Walk/Run starts at 10am November 4, rain or shine (or snow...chilled Chick-uamegon) Packet pick-up and registration:
  • Friday, November 1, 8am to 5pm at the Ashland Chamber office, 1716 West Lake Shore Dr, Ashland.
  • Saturday, November 2, In the pavilion behind the Bretting Community Center, 400 4th Ave West, Ashland   8:30am to 9:30am (prices go up on Saturday)
2024 Race Registration Fee:  
  • Registration Fees: Race Fees:  5K $15 + .82tax = $15.82 until October 30.   October 31-November 1 $20 + 1.20tax =$21.10. Race day $25 + 1.37tax = $26.37. (shirt not included)
    1-mile -$10 + .55tax = $10.55 until October 30.  October 31-November 1 $15 + .82 = $15.82.   Race Day $20 + 1.20 = $21.20 (shirt not included).
Registration now open Race:
    • Start line for the race is behind the Bretting Center/Bay Area Civic Center in the Central Railyard Park.
    • Start time is at 10am
Prizes will be given away to;
    • 3 places for Blingest or Best Costume ( $50/$25/$25 in Chamber Dollars);
    • Best Dressed Volunteer ($20);  All Guys doing the Water Stations and Crossing Guards!
    • 3 random drawings (each $20 in Chamber Dollars)
All Guys doing the Water Stations and Crossing Guards! For insurance purposes:
    • Everyone participating must be a paid participant of the race wearing an official bib or they will be directed to leave the course.
    • NO animals, rollerskates, roller skis, inline skates or bikes of any kind allowed to participate in the Chick-uamegon.  For your own safety and for those around you, these are NOT allowed. If you are caught on the course with any of these, you will be directed off the route.
      In 2023 wew are testing the waters and allowing Strollers & carriages to participate in the Chick-uamegon, we just ask that the folks with strollers line up in the back and don't tak up the whole trial. The Chick-uamegon course is an out and back course.
    • Persons under 18 years of age must have a parent’s signed consent.
